SUMMARY:Healing the Whole Person: Engaging Your Story
DESCRIPTION:Thursdays: April 23 – June 25 (no meeting May 14 & June 11)\n6:30 – 8:30 pm (doors open at 6:00 pm – light dinner)\nOld St. Mary Parish Center (enter doors off parking lot)\nCost: $20 includes workbook journal (scholarships are available)\nRegister at https://intranet.archmil.org/Healing-the-Whole-Person/Story.htm or contact Terri Balash\, Director of Pastoral Care\, at tbalash@ffpmke.org. \nHealing the Whole Person: Engaging Your Story is an 8-week series that provides the framework for understanding and receiving Christ’s healing and peace in the heart of the Catholic Church. \nUsing videos featuring Dr. Bob Schuchts & Sr. Miriam James Heidland presenting the John Paul II Healing Center’s Healing the Whole Person teachings\, each session includes a guided prayer experience and a workbook journaling activity for private reflection and prayer. These sessions also include the opportunity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation and to pray with a prayer team trained by the John Paul II Healing Center. \nThe goal of this video series is to facilitate a personal encounter with Jesus’ merciful love and healing truth in the areas where people have felt disconnected from love and bound by lies. We have witnessed God work powerfully in the lives of those who participate with an open heart. Wherever you find yourself now is not the end of your story. God is here. God has more for you. Engaging Your Story is time set aside for God to guide you through.

SUMMARY:A Vision for Healing
DESCRIPTION:We are made for more\, and Lent feels like the perfect time to grow in our relationship with Christ. One way to pause and reflect on what really matters is by creating a vision board – a Christ-centered vision board. Creating a vision board is not just about pasting pretty pictures\, goals\, and deepest desires. It’s about quieting your heart before God\, saying\, “Lord\, I want what you want…” The evening will involve a reflection\, followed by creating our own vision boards\, and learning how to abide in the Holy Trinity. Led by Terri Balash and Idalia Nieves-Reyes. \n\nTuesday\, March 10 – 7:00-9:00 pm at Old St. Mary\nMonday\, March 23 – 7:00-9:00 pm at Three Holy Women-Holy Rosary\n\nTo register for one of these sessions\, please email Idalia at inievesreyes@ffpmke.org.

SUMMARY:CANCELED - St. Joseph Tavolata
DESCRIPTION:Due to the forecasted inclement weather\, the St. Joseph Tavolata is canceled. \n  \nThe Saint Joseph Table Returns Sunday\, March 15\, 2026!\nTable Blessing follows the 10:30 am Mass\nTable continues until the raffle at 1:30 pm\nSt. Rita Church & Hall (1617 N Cass St)\nAdmission is free \nThe Christian Women Society invites you to experience this Italian tradition through which Three Holy Women Parish honors St. Joseph. The intent of this communal celebration is to help those in need. \nLegend tells us that during a time of drought and famine in Sicily\, people prayed to St. Joseph for his intercession. When the rains came\, crops were planted\, and people were able to rise up and thrive again. From their crops\, they prepared a grand feast and\, with their neighbors in need\, they feasted together in thanksgiving to St. Joseph. \nIn keeping with this Italian tradition\, the parish prepares a table or altar\, a display of food and faith celebrating St. Joseph on his March 19 feast day. Occurring during Lent\, this beautifully adorned table is filled with donated meatless dishes\, traditional foods\, sculpted breads and sweets. After a blessing\, the food is sold to attendees. Participants receive a complimentary bread roll and a bowl of pasta con sarde\, a favorite Lenten pasta with fish sauce (also served without the fish sauce). A specially prepared cake is cut and shared with those present. A raffle is held with a wonderful variety of prizes\, including restaurant certificates\, tickets to events\, gift baskets and cash prizes! Proceeds from the food sales\, raffle and free will offerings are donated to the parish’s social justice ministry\, as well as other organizations or projects in the community that provide services to people needing help. \nAdmission is free. You need not be present at the time of the raffle drawing to win. Monetary donations are also welcome! Questions? Contact Chris Conley at christineconley71@gmail.com.
