Eat, Drink and Be Catholic offers women and men of all ages a casual opportunity to explore the Catholic faith. The hope is that at the end of each evening, individuals not only know more but are inspired and empowered to more fully live out the faith we celebrate on Sundays. Free drinks and appetizers are provided.
Our next session will be on Wednesday, October 22 beginning at 7:00 pm. This year’s theme is “Films of Faith,” and we will watch Ethan Hawke’s “Wildcat,” starring Maya Hawke as Flannery O’Connor.
“Wildcat invites viewers to weave in and out of the mind of the celebrated southern gothic writer Flannery O’Connor as she ponders the great questions of her writing: Can scandalous art still serve God? Does suffering precede all greatness? Can illness be a blessing?”
