We are excited to be trying something totally new for our four-parish family this winter! Instead of our traditional three-night Lenten Mission, we will be hosting an inspiring Arise Parish Mission right before Lent begins, to help all of us enter into our Lenten journey with prayerful hearts. This Parish Mission will be followed by a Retreat on the first Sunday of Lent to deepen and sustain that prayerful spirit.
Parish Mission
We are delighted that so many of you joined us for our Arise Parish Mission on February 18th. If you would like to share your experience, we’d love to hear from you.
Whether or not you were able to attend the Parish Mission, we sincerely hope you will join us for our Lenten Retreat!
Lenten Retreat
Our Lenten Retreat will be held on the first Sunday of Lent, March 5, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Saints Peter and Paul.
This gathering will be an opportunity for peaceful prayer, reflection, and conversation as you begin your Lenten journey. We will be invited to return to the heart of our Catholic faith – our personal relationship with Jesus. Our time together will include large group music and messages, personal reflection time, and small group discussion. The retreat will be led by both parish staff and the Arise Missions staff.
Loving child care will be provided for our youngest parishioners, and an engaging youth program will take place for children ages 6 to 12. We will end prior to the 7:00 pm mass at Saints Peter and Paul Church, allowing you to attend mass after the retreat if you would like. Dinner will be provided.
There is no cost to attend the retreat, but registration is required so that we can plan for materials and food. Please register at www.arisemissions.org/retreat by Monday, February 27th.
