Eat, Drink and Be Catholic offers women and men of all ages a casual opportunity to explore the Catholic faith. The hope is that at the end of each evening, individuals not only know more but are inspired and empowered to more fully live out the faith we celebrate on Sundays.
“One discovers God in and through the things of this world.” Fr. Stephen Bevans
This year, speakers will explore “The Catholic Imagination” and how we are invited to experience God in the beauty of novels, music, visual arts, poetry and many other places where God’s loving presence is revealed outside of explicitly “religious” places. Drinks and appetizers are provided.
Our next session will be on Wednesday, January 15 at Mo’s…A Place for Steaks (720 N Plankinton Ave) beginning at 7:00 pm. Our pastor and rector, Fr. Tim Kitzke, will reflect on Francis Thompson’s poem “The Hound of Heaven” as part of our ongoing theme: The Catholic Imagination.
Please RSVP to Chad Griesel at cgriesel@ffpmke.org.
