Since 2016, our Family of Four Parishes has been making knotted rosaries, and we need volunteers to continue this beautiful ministry. These knotted rosaries have become Fr. Tim’s signature when visiting the sick, presiding at a wedding or funeral, and welcoming the newly baptized.
Knotted Rosary Workshops
Friday, September 8 | 1:00 – 3:00 pm | Old St. Mary Parish Center
Wednesday, September 13 | 6:00 – 8:00 pm | Old St. Mary Parish Office
At this workshop you will learn how to get supplies, make the knotted rosary, and how to return the finished knotted rosaries. If you cannot attend the dates we are offering the Knotted Rosary Workshops but wish to be involved, reach out to Terri to set up a time for one-on-one instructions.
Once you become acquainted with making these knotted rosaries, it will become a contemplative action of personal prayer. Praying the Rosary allows us to encounter Mary and to enter the mysteries of Jesus Christ. From his Incarnation to the Cross to the Resurrection, we come to understand that God has revealed himself and saved us.
