In this presentation, Fr. Bob Cook, OFM Conv., will examine the deadly sin of avarice through the wisdom of Scripture and the Catholic tradition. Participants will be invited to reflect on this important aspect of the spiritual life and consider how God calls us to a life of generosity and freedom.
Fr. Bob Cook is a Conventual Franciscan friar and rector of the Basilica of St. Josaphat in Milwaukee. He has served as a pastor in Chicago, seminary vice president, shrine director, and attorney with Catholic Charities, and is currently a chaplain to several Catholic legal organizations. Drawing on his years of pastoral ministry and Franciscan spirituality, Fr. Bob offers thoughtful and engaging reflections on living the Gospel in today’s world.
Whether you are seeking to deepen your understanding of the Catholic faith or grow in your spiritual life, this presentation offers a meaningful opportunity for prayer, reflection, and faith formation.
