“The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common.” (Acts 4:32)
The above passage from Acts of the Apostles tells us we do not hold our gifts as our own. We offer them as servants to each other. We are all in community together, all equally important partners celebrating all he has done for us and all we are called to do for each other in Eucharist and in mission.
Saints Peter and Paul has many unique opportunities to participate and serve within our parish and in our community. Be an usher or greeter. Make music or be a lector at Mass. Distribute food at Kinship Community Food Center. Deliver a holiday plant to a homebound parishioner. There are many chances to get involved here at the parish, whether you can give several hours a week, one hour a month, or one day a year. We urge you to prayerfully reflect and discern your gifts, talents and interests to be offered to any of the ministries in our family of four parishes. Your gifts that are to be shared will have a huge impact on our community, parish and the hearts and souls of all our parishioners. Because you are here, we are a better community!
Please take some time to explore our website and learn about the ministries in which you can get involved. Most service opportunities can be found in our Serve in Our Parish, Serve in Our Community, and Sister Parish pages. If you are looking for opportunities to serve at Mass, please see our Liturgical Ministries page. If you want to work with children or are looking for opportunities for your children, please see our Youth Formation page. There are also many faith formation opportunities for adults that can be found in our Adult Formation page.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions, either the staff member or parish office directly or via our contact form.
May God bless and guide you on your spiritual path.
