It’s time to celebrate in the street. Always the second Saturday in September, the Saints Peter & Paul Block Party is open to the public. Free admission allows everyone to take in the great music we have planned.
The Triple P's
Start the day with the beautiful harmony of the most musical family in the parish. The Triple P’s are a portion of the Parlier family. You know them, you’ve seen them cantor at Mass. Come to hear them in this intimate setting from noon to 1 pm.
Mid-afternoon brings us Magic Rivers, a band of student musicians, some who are SSPP parishioners. Magic Rivers was formed in 2014 through a love of poetry and pop music. They were winners of the 2016 Dominican High School Talent Show. Catch them on the Side Stage from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm.
Stray Voltage is a band that sounds fun and is fun. They enjoy playing together, and aim to please the audience at hand. They’ve been doing covers for many years, and have a great sound. You’ve seen them at other parish festivals, why not come to ours to see them again from 4 pm to 8 pm.
JT and the Congregants
JT and the Congregants is group of diverse musicians who recently came together under the lead singer John Townsend. Their wide variety of music spans from ballads to rock. John is an SSPP parishioner. Stay to hear them from 8 pm to 9 pm in the Music Tent.
