It’s time to celebrate in the street. Always the second Saturday in September, the Saints Peter & Paul Block Party is open to the public. Free admission allows everyone to take in the great music we have planned.
Stray Voltage
Stray Voltage is a band that sounds fun and is fun. They enjoy playing together, and aim to please the audience at hand. They’ve been doing covers for many years, and have a great sound. You’ve seen them at other parish festivals, why not come to Saints Peter & Paul’s festival to see them again, with no cover fee, from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Fightin’ Bob
Fightin’ Bob is a 5-piece progressive rock band based in Milwaukee. The members are all in high school ranging from freshman to senior, representing high schools across the Milwaukee area. The group has a number of multi-instrumentalists, and they are always writing new original songs as well as learning covers of songs by bands such as Pink Floyd, Rush, and the Grateful Dead.
Fightin’ Bob formed in early 2018 to put together some original songs to enter Rockonsin, which is a Wisconsin based, statewide youth band competition – rockonsin.org. The competition fielded over 60 entries this year, and Fightin’ Bob made the top 12 semifinalists from across the state, and the top 3 from the Southeastern quarter of the state. They went on to perform a short set at Summerfest, and have since played a number of East Side shows as well as the Wisconsin State Fair. They will be performing from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
